No experience required. Here's how a night at Decades usually goes.
Walk In & Say Hi
Come as you are. Find a booth, a couch or a seat at the bar. Bring your ID — our lounge is 18+, and guests under 18 are welcome with an adult.
Tell Us It's Your First Time
Let your kavatender know you're new. We'll explain the menu, suggest something that fits the vibe you're after and answer every question.
Try Your First Shell
Kava comes in a traditional coconut shell. It tastes earthy and a little peppery, and a light tingle on your lips is totally normal. Most people drink it in a few quick sips, then grab a chaser.
Raise It Up & Say “Bula!”
Bula (boo-lah) is the Fijian toast to life and good health. Clink shells with whoever's around — that's how friendships start here.

What Are We Drinking?

Kava 18+
Kava is a root from South Pacific islands like Fiji and Vanuatu that's been shared for more than 3,000 years. It's traditionally enjoyed to relax, unwind and connect with people.
We serve it in traditional shells or blended into creamy mocktails. Kava has a "reverse tolerance," so it can take a couple of shells — or a couple of visits — to notice the calm. Start slow.
Botanical Teas 21+
Our botanical drafts are cold teas brewed from the leaves of an evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia, served on tap and in craft mocktails.
Depending on the blend, they're known for an uplifting, focused or social feel. Botanical teas are 21+ with valid ID.
Not Into Either? No Problem.
We've got craft mocktails, espresso drinks, herbal tea, kombucha, functional mushroom energy drinks, Red Bull and yerba mate — plus chips and candy.
Plenty of guests come just for the vibe, the pool table and the game pit.
Good to Know
- Start with one shell and see how you feel before ordering another.
- Grab a chaser. Kava tastes best in a few quick sips, followed by something sweet.
- Bring your ID. Kava is 18+ and botanical teas are 21+.
- We're 100% alcohol-free — and we recommend not mixing kava or botanicals with alcohol.
- In the plaza at the end of Rangeline Road on SR 434, minutes off the I-4 Longwood exit.
- Open 10 AM – 2 AM, every day. Know your limits and get home safe.
